Mission
The mission of Meet US Studio© is to produce content and utilize multi-media platforms for us seniors and elders to share our stories of strength and resolve – to inspire, entertain, engage and inform - for this and generations to come. Lest we be forgotten.
About US

The first production of Meet US Studio is Meet US at the Café©. The show was originally designed to be local, where seniors met at a neighborhood café for a cup of tea or coffee - to relax, enjoy and share their life stories or ‘spill the tea.” Production was scheduled to start in March, 2020, using mobile phones to record and edit. The episodes were to be aired on local community access.
Instead, CoVid 19 came and turned those plans upside down. Seniors became a primary target for this deadly pandemic. Social distancing replaced physical contact. Online telephony and other virtual chat services replaced in-person gatherings. Meet US Studio met this challenge by utilizing Zoom to host and record its shows at a ‘virtual’ café, and assembling an international production team from an online marketplace of freelance services.

About the Producer
Meet US Studio and its productions are creations of Charlotte Sistrun, an intergenerational visionary. Her background includes founder and publisher of a community newspaper, Wynnefield West Digest, distributed in the 1980s and 1990s. The newspaper became an outlet for the Literacy Enrichment Achievement Program, displaying writings of inner-city school students. She is now a grandmother and a senior, using her experiences and passion for creating storytelling forums to position the aging process as a respected part of the life experience – not separate from it.
Everything is done through a ‘cloud.’ Learning and incorporating this new reality has been arduous, to say the least. But it provides the awesome opportunity for digital, inter-continental artistic collaboration to bring our issues and Untold Stories to life - many of US meeting for the first time.
Numerous episodes of Meet US at the Café were recorded during the pandemic. Each features an Unstoppable Senior sharing his or her life perspective on coping and survival. With raw footage currently in post-production, episodes are released on various social media platforms upon completion -one at a time.
